WARDOGS beginner guide: start with your squad
You do not need to arrive with every mechanic memorized. Prepare the basics, ask useful questions and find a group that is happy to explain. This is a first-session checklist, not a promise of expert tactics.

Understand the objective before chasing a score
The official overview describes three teams competing for a Control Zone, with the first team to reach 100 points winning. In-game cash persists between matches, and team actions such as reviving or transporting teammates earn rewards. A useful contribution is not limited to winning a firefight.
For your first session, agree on a simple purpose with the group: learn the objective, stay in communication and ask before spending on something you do not yet understand. Those are community suggestions, not a hidden formula for progression.
Before you load into a session
A few checks make it easier to focus on the people and the game rather than troubleshooting halfway through a match.
- Update through the official game platform and check the current requirements on Steam. Do not assume a settings guide for another build applies to yours.
- Check your audio and decide whether you want voice or text coordination. Tell the group if you prefer listening while learning.
- Agree where you are meeting, how long you have and what happens if someone disconnects. Never post account credentials or private connection details.
- Set a modest goal for the first session and ask for help when something is unclear. There is no requirement to pretend you know the map or every vehicle.
Find the WARDOGS channels in Game Serv
Open our Discord invitation, complete any Discord screening shown, read the community rules and add the rules post’s ✅ reaction. Game access comes after rules acceptance. A verified website invitation may remember your WARDOGS interest; otherwise select 🐕 in the Tactical & Military panel. Existing members can use that selection too.
If channels still look missing, ask staff which onboarding step remains. Do not repeatedly leave and rejoin or share your password. For a technical problem, include your game build, the exact message and what you already tried; remove personal details from screenshots.
